Expression is a part of human nature. The human history can be summarized as an epitome of expressions. The success, failures, achievements, discoveries, explorations, scientific developments ….and there are many more, in fact, every facet of human lives is one or the other form of such illustrations.
Expression is also an obstinate part of our culture and dialects. Very often inquisitiveness and curiosity get articulated in a unique form of expression, which we call a “Question”. What, why, where, when, how…. are just a few to characterize that illustrious form of communication. In Islam, asking meaningful questions has always been admired.
The Quran is loaded with different forms of questions that begin with words like say (قل), are / is (ھل / ام), why don’t, do you (الم / افلا), who (من / أ), and that begins with verb (رای) like don’t you see (افریتم)…. and there are plenty of other forms of statements that gave an expression of the same, here are the details, categorized under various topics.
The questions, in actual sense, are an obligation on us to think and answer them, as they are being asked by our Merciful God .
The spirit of the Quranic Questions
The Quran openly proclaims that it has been revealed by God (45:02) as the book of guidance for the entire humanity (02:185). The Book delves with different approaches to explain the prerequisites of faith along with expressing the ideas that are quite essential for the human societies and in conceptualization of purpose of human existence on earth.
One of the most striking features of the Quranic approach is that it takes every reader along with its description, never lets anyone feel a distant relation with its teachings. In no way on can feel that the Book is compelling to adopt the faith that it professes. Rather it just ignites the mind and gently touches the heart to help ponder and understand the realities.
The presentation of questions is one of the interactive forms of Quranic Approaches that present a world of fascination and inquisitiveness before the readers just to help them reach where their hearts merge with the liking of their Creator.
…and the Creator says:
Join us for an inquisitive journey of the Quran to know what actually our Creator has to say. Let us go through the queries first, on the later part we shall try to delve with there answers.
Questions About God
